Are You A Lazy Brusher? Here’s How to Achieve Maximum Results With Minimal Effort

Lazy BrusherWe get it, life can be exhausting. Between the stress of work and family, sometimes the last thing you want to do at night is brush your teeth. Here are three things you can do right now to keep your teeth clean and healthy even if you’re feeling too lazy for regular brushings.

Keep Your Toothbrush on Your Nightstand

If you’re the kind of person who can barely change out of your clothes at night before you fall into bed, you might not be able to squeeze in a good brushing before your head hits the pillow. But if you keep your toothbrush on your nightstand, you don’t have to. You don’t even need to use toothpaste, Dr. Heller recommends a gentle dry brushing right before you drift off into dreamland.

Set an Alarm to Replace Your Toothbrush

Are you one of those people who are in a long-term relationship with your toothbrush? If so, ew. If you can’t remember to change your bristles at least every three-to-four months, set an alarm on your phone to remind you. You can also subscribe to an auto-delivery from Amazon, so a new brush shows up on your doorstep every time you need to change it. It’s literally a no-brainer.

Rinse With Water

If you enjoy coffee and red wine, two of the most amazing things on the planet, chances are your teeth could be showing the consequences in the forms of stains. Rinsing with water (or just drinking it!) after consuming these delicious beverages will lessen the likelihood of staining. So the next time you order a latte or a glass of red wine, get it with a side of water!

Another thing you can do when you’re too lazy to brush your teeth? Hire someone else to do it instead! Make an appointment for a cleaning with Dr. Heller and let his awesome staff do the dirty work for you.
